Online Consultation Terms and Conditions

• Patient Eligibility:
  Online consultations are available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By participating in an online consultation, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, a legal guardian or parent must participate on your behalf.
• Online Consultation Nature and Limitations:
  Online consultations are provided for informational and non-emergency purposes only. They are not intended to replace in-person medical examinations or emergency medical care. Our healthcare professionals will provide advice and recommendations based on the information provided during the online consultation. However, please be aware that there may be limitations in accurately diagnosing and treating certain conditions remotely.
• Informed Consent:
  By participating in an online consultation, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the limitations, risks, and benefits associated with remote healthcare services. You consent to receiving medical advice, recommendations, and treatment options based on the information provided during the online consultation. You understand that it is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information to ensure the best possible care.
• Technical Requirements and Connectivity:
  To participate in an online consultation, you must have access to a reliable internet connection and a compatible device with audio and video capabilities (e.g., smartphone, tablet, or computer). It is your responsibility to ensure that your device meets the technical requirements and that you have a stable internet connection for the duration of the consultation.
• Payment and Fees:
  The fees for online consultations will be communicated to you prior to scheduling the appointment. Payment is typically required in advance through a secure payment gateway. Failure to make payment may result in the cancellation or rescheduling of your consultation.
• Cancellation and Rescheduling:
  If you need to cancel or reschedule your online consultation, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule online consultations due to unforeseen circumstances or technical difficulties. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and offer alternative arrangements.
• Ownership of Consultation Records:
  All records and documentation generated during the online consultation, including medical notes and recommendations, will be retained by Rana Kamal Shahab Medical Complex. 
• Limitation of Liability:
  You understand and agree that Rana Kamal Shahab Medical Complex and its healthcare professionals will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your participation in an online consultation, including but not limited to delays, interruptions, technical issues, or errors in the consultation process.
• Modifications to Terms and Conditions:
  Rana Kamal Shahab Medical Complex reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. We encourage you to review the most up-to-date version of the terms and conditions before participating in an online consultation.
